The Port Macquarie Triathlon Festival Committee is pleased to announce its new partnership with SiS as the new naming rights sponsor for the 2010 Half Ironman event.
Science in Sport is a UK-based nutrition company that has been dominant in European cycling and sporting events since it came onto the market in 1992. SiS began to arrive in Australia about two years ago, and they are making huge inroads in their distribution network. It is exciting for us to be part of their growth, and we hope that all our competitors will be able to sample and test their products in their lead up to our event.

Help save lives with the Ironblood Challenge
2009 was the Year of the Blood Donor and the Local Organising Committee of the SiS Half Ironman is again partnering with the Australian Red Cross Blood Service to help save lives by asking competitors, their friends and families and the wider Port Macquarie community to pledge to donate blood.
We are aiming to collect 2000 pledges which will help save up to 6000 lives.

ATTENTION TRIATHLON CLUBS -SPECIAL INVITATION
An invitation is extended to all Clubs wishing to erect Club marquees at the race venue in Westport Park, to lodge a request via email with the Race Director (ken@ironman.com). Details of size and/or additional structures/vehicles should be submitted with the request. Space will then be allocated according to first in first served basis.
